Stop 1: Midhope Castle

Midhope Castle, also known as Lallybroch in the popular TV series Outlander, is a historic property located on the Hopetoun Estate near South Queensferry in Scotland. The castle itself dates back to the 15th century and has been used as a filming location for Outlander, representing the family home of Jamie Fraser.

Stop 2: Blackness Castle

Blackness Castle is a historic fortress situated on the south shore of the Firth of Forth. In Outlander, Blackness Castle is featured as Fort William, where various scenes, including those depicting Jamie Fraser’s incarceration and flogging, were filmed. The castle has a rich history as a military stronghold and prison, and today, visitors can explore its well-preserved structure, exhibits, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Stop 3: Doune Castle
